Askfirmations Jukebox
What are askfirmations?
Askfirmations are affirmations phrased as questions. An affirmation tells you something is true: “I am calm.” An askfirmation asks instead: “Why do I feel so calm?”
Every question assumes the good thing is already there. You may know the idea as afformations, or simply as affirmations in question form.
Why questions instead of statements?
When an affirmation does not feel true yet, part of you may argue back. A question takes a different approach: it invites your mind to look for answers, and to notice the reasons, moments and evidence that the good things are already in your life.
There is nothing to believe or force. You only listen, and let the questions guide your attention.
How to use a session
- Choose the askfirmations you want to hear, or keep them all.
- Pick a voice and a background sound, and set the volumes, the speed and the pause between questions.
- Choose how long the session should run, then press play.
Five to fifteen minutes is a good start. Many people listen in the morning, on a walk, or while winding down before sleep. You do not have to answer the questions; it is enough to let them pass by.
The player keeps going with the screen locked, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
